Dunaverty Golf Course is situated on the south coast of the stunning Kintyre peninsula in the beautiful little village of Southend.

The village of Southend lies at the end of the Kintyre Peninsula only 13 miles from Ireland.  It has a unique and varied history spanning thousands of years, beautiful coastal scenery, bird and wildlife, a large seal colony viewed from Keil shore with neolithic caves, and is the start (or end) of the Kintyre Way (105 miles) opened in 2006.  (not to forget our wonderful golf course!)

The famous "St. Columba's Footsteps", etched in the rock for centuries, show where Christianity was first brought to Scotland from Ireland.
